Our standard preparation for exterior painting includes soft-washing surfaces, hand-washing if needed, and sanding any failing paint. We scuff-sand shiny surfaces for optimal paint adhesion, spot-prime bare wood or metal, and perform minor caulking of gaps and cracks.
These services are included in every Dunbar Painting exterior paint job.
For more extensive repairs such as hole repair, extensive caulking, intensive sanding, or window re-glazing, we’ll consult with you beforehand.
Additionally, we offer minor restorative carpentry, such as removing and rebuilding rotten beams with filler.
